Terms of Service

1. You must be 18 or older

The Build Nation ("the Service") is only for adults. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or use the Service. By using it, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

2. Meeting people is at your own risk

The Service helps you find and connect with other builders, mentors, investors, and businesses near you. Anyone you meet through the Service is a stranger. You choose whether and how to meet them, and you do so entirely at your own risk. We do not verify the identity, background, intentions, or conduct of other users.

3. Meet in public places

For your safety, always arrange to meet in a public place — a café, coworking space, campus common area, or similar. Do not share your home address or meet privately with someone you have just met. Tell someone you trust where you are going. If a situation feels unsafe, leave and contact local emergency services.

4. We only connect people

The Service is a tool that connects people; it is not a party to anything that happens between users. We do not organize, supervise, or take responsibility for meetups, conversations, agreements, work, investments, or any interaction that takes place on or off the platform. Any dealings between you and another user are solely between the two of you.

5. Acceptable use

Treat other people with respect. You agree not to:

• Harass, threaten, bully, or intimidate anyone
• Post content that is hateful, illegal, or sexually explicit
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent who you are
• Spam, scam, or solicit users deceptively
• Share another person's private information without consent
• Attempt to access accounts or data that are not yours

6. Accounts can be suspended

We may suspend or remove any account at any time — with or without notice — if we believe it breaks these terms, harms other users, or puts anyone at risk. You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time.

7. No warranties

During the pilot the Service is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. It may be incomplete, interrupted, or changed at any time. We are not responsible for the actions of other users or for anything that happens at a meetup.
